Examples of the Knives we Manufacture

We can grind any profile on HSS or Tungsten blanks. HSS (High Speed Steel) is idea for hardwood and softwoods. We recommend knives with a Tungsten Carbide insert for moulding MDF and other hard materials. Below you can see some of the different types of knives that we regularly make for our customers. We recommend Serrated Knives

We sharpen more Circular Saw Blades than any other product. We grind the top and face of every tip, matching the original manufactures configuration. This guarantees an edge that is as sharp, and often sharper than the day the sawblade was manufactured.

With our 5 Axis tool & cutter grinder we regrind profile knives along the cutting edge, carefully matching the original profile. High Speed Steel Serrated Knives are the most popular, but we also sharpen a wide range of Universal Knives and Carbide Profile Knives.

With the increasing popularity of CNC manufacturing for wood and plastic based products, Solid Carbide Spirals are becoming much more common in the modern workshop. We sharpen all types of spiral tools, including Roughing, Ballnose and Compression Spirals.

Period Property - Matching Existing Mouldings

Paint Line or Original Line

We often grind knives to match old Georgian or Victorian profiles. Many of the samples sections that we receive have a build up of paint from generation of care & Maintenance. We can grind the knives to match the paint line so that it exactly matches the profile in its current state, or we can grind the lines of the wood , reproducing the profile in its original glory.
